The European Film Awards 2024 have selected 29 productions for the first part of the Fiction Feature Film Selection, which will have their first official screening between 1 June 2023 and 31 May 2024. Representing a wide range of European countries, this selection reflects the diversity and creativity of European filmmakers. The awards ceremony will take place on 7 December in Lucerne, Switzerland. The 5,000 members of the European Film Academy will vote on the shortlisted films in the coming weeks for various categories, including European Film, European Director and European Actor. Further titles will be announced in September.
