PowNed launches the four-part documentary series De Taxioorlog, which highlights the chaotic and violent battle in the Amsterdam taxi world at the beginning of this century. The series, based on a podcast by BNR Nieuwsradio, reveals the consequences of the new national taxi law in 2000, with assaults, mafia practices and corruption within the Taxi Centrale Amsterdam (TCA). Important extras such as former minister Netelenbos, chief of detectives, taxi drivers and journalists share their experiences. De Taxioorlog can be seen on NPO Start and NPO 3.
