Cineville, one of Europe’s largest film markets, launches in Germany on August 15. With a Cineville card, subscribers get unlimited access to films, festivals and special events at participating arthouse cinemas from €20 per month. The service will launch in Berlin, Hamburg, Freiburg, Cologne and Nuremberg, with plans to expand to other German cities in October 2024. Seven independent cinema operators have joined forces to establish Cineville in Germany, supported by the German Federal Film Fund (FFA) and the cinema network Europa Cinemas.
