"Julie is silent", a film starring newcomer Tessa Van den Broeck and important supporting roles for Koen De Bouw and Ruth Becquart, has been selected for TIFF. The screenplay was written by Ruth Becquart and Leonardo van Dijl. The production is in the hands of Gilles De Schryver and others, in co-production with, among others, Les Films du Fleuve and the Swedish production companies Hobab and Film i Väst. Naomi Osaka acts as executive producer. Paradiso Films will release the film in the Benelux.
