A series of Dutch films have been selected for the Melbourne International Film Festival, which takes place from August 8 to 25. Among the selected works are Oscar winner Steve McQueen's “Occupied City,” a documentary that reveals hidden histories of WWII, and “All We Imagine As Light,” an Indian film co-produced by BALDR Film, which won the Grand Prix at Cannes . “East of Noon” by Hala Elkoussy and “Sweet Dreams” by Ena Sendijarevic, who won several awards, including six Golden Calves, will also be shown. In addition, "Shadowtime", a VR experience about the climate crisis, is part of the festival, as is "Grandmamauntsistercat" by Zuza Banasińska, winner of the Teddy Award in Berlin.
