Dutch director Halina Reijn's new film "Babygirl", starring Nicole Kidman, Antonio Banderas and Harris Dickinson, has been selected for the competition of the 81st Venice Film Festival. The film tells the story of a career woman (Kidman) who begins an affair with an intern (Dickinson), while Banderas plays her husband. Other selected films include Pablo Larraín's “Maria” and Pedro Almodóvar's “The Room Next Door.” Isabelle Huppert is the jury chairman of the festival, which runs from August 28 to September 7.
