In 2023, two projects were selected for a realization contribution of up to €450,000 in the context of De Verbeelding, after a development phase in which four projects received a contribution. An advisory committee, with members such as Anke Bangma and Fiona Tan, selected the projects. One of the selected works is "Lyrical Vengeance" by visual artist/director Wendelien van Oldenborgh, produced by the Vriza Foundation. This film draws parallels between historical writers from Indonesia, the Netherlands and Japan and contemporary movements, illuminated from a queer feminist perspective.
