In the short film "Nevel" by Merijn Stojansek, a graduate of St. Joost, the inner world of 75-year-old demented Hidde, played by Peter Blok, is explored. Stojansek, whose grandfather suffered from dementia, wants his film to bring the confusion and perception of people with dementia closer, something he misses in other media. The inspiration for "Nebula" came from a personal experience when his grandfather went missing one night. Stojansek, who previously made the documentary "Double Condemned", shows with "Nevel" his social involvement and the desire to make unknown worlds visible. The film can be seen at the Dutch Film Festival at the end of September.
