Henriëtte Poelman has been appointed the new artistic director of the Northern Film Festival, which is celebrating its 44th edition this year from November 13 to 17. Poelman, who previously held the same position at the Assen International Film Festival, is looking forward to the opportunity to strengthen the festival's content. Together with the new business manager Emmy Huiskamp and a strengthened core team, including a social impact coordinator, the festival strives for a diverse and inclusive program. This year's theme is 'in motion', with program details to be revealed on October 16.
