"Three Days of Fish", Peter Hoogendoorn's second feature film, has been included in the main competition of the 58th Karlovy Vary Film Festival. This autobiographical film, based on Hoogendoorn's experiences with his father, follows the characters Gerrie and Dick during three days in the Netherlands. Hoogendoorn, whose debut "Tussen 10 en 12" made an impression in 2014, explores the complex father-son relationship against a background of everyday Dutch settings in this bittersweet tragicomedy. The film, which was ten years in the making, will have its world premiere on June 29, 2024 and is expected in Dutch cinemas in 2025.
