Netflix has revealed the full cast of the Dutch series Amsterdam Empire, starring Famke Janssen and Jacob Derwig as Betty and Jack van Doorn. The series, written and created by Nico Moolenaar, Piet Matthys and Bart Uytdenhouwen, and directed by Jonas Govaerts, delves into the Amsterdam cannabis scene. The story follows Jack, the founder of the Jackal coffee shop empire, whose life is turned upside down by an affair and the subsequent revenge of his wife Betty. Amsterdam Empire, produced by Pupkin, is expected on Netflix in 2025.
