Katja Lubina will become the new secretary of Dutch Screenwriters & Directors (DS&D) in September 2024, an alliance of the Dutch Directors Guild (DDG) and Network Scriptwriters Authors' Union. She takes over the role of Maarten Treurniet, who was interim secretary until July 1, 2024. Lubina, a PhD lawyer with a strong affinity for art and culture, is praised for her experience and connecting qualities. DS&D, supported by Lira Fund and VEVAM Fund, promotes collaboration between writers and directors, while both associations remain independent.
