The Cinekid Festival 2024 opens with the world premiere of the animated film "Victor Bat", written by Karen van Holst Pellekaan and Errol Nayci. The film, directed by Patrick Raats and Sarah Sutter, is a production of Storytellers Film & TV and co-produced by Zeilt Productions, Avrotros and il Luster. With contributions from the Netherlands Film Fund and Creative Europe Media, among others, the film promises a unique experience with its 3D animation and hand-painted backgrounds. "Victor Bat" will be released in Dutch cinemas by September Film on October 23.
