Several Flemish films will be shown at FIDMarseille, including Ferne Stimmen by Annik Leroy and Julie Morel, which is having its French premiere. This short film, produced by Marie Logie for Auguste Orts, begins with a poem by Hannah Arendt about Walter Benjamin. Another selected film from the same production is Leçon d'objet by Herman Asselberghs, a medium-length film that explores the teaching method within an art school through the in-depth observation of everyday objects.
