Yannick de Waal, known for his acting in "Threshing Floor Full of Confetti" and "The Golden Hour", is also successful as a screenwriter and director. Together with Willem Bosch he wrote "War Stories", an award-winning online series. His first self-written and directed short film, "A pink Moon comes", premiered at the Edmonton International Film Festival. De Waal is working on various projects, including scripts for his own films and a new drama series. He finds writing limitless and it gives him freedom, comparable to acting. In addition to writing, De Waal has income from acting, voice-overs and translations.
