Dutch director Ate de Jong has finally completed his latest film, Heart Strings, after fifty years of preparation. The world premiere will take place at the American Cinematheque in Hollywood. The film tells the story of Lucky and Billie, two singers who enter into a fake relationship to win a TV talent show, but fall in love along the way. The script, originally started by co-screenwriter Steven Gaydos in the 1970s, was eventually completed by Gaydos and De Jong. Heart Strings has already received attention at several film festivals, including Porto, Miami and Carmel.
