The Dutch Film Festival (NFF) handed over an urgent letter to the municipality of Utrecht on Thursday for the maintenance of the subsidy. Marjolijn Bronkhuyzen, business director of the NFF, presented the letter to cultural councilor Eva Oosters for the mayor and aldermen.
The letter was written by the Utrecht filmmaker Jean van de Velde and was signed thousands of times. Paul Verhoeven, Georgina Verbaan, Monique van de Ven, Nasrdin Dchar and Fedja van Huêt, among others, signed it.
