Lennart van der Meulen, former general director of the VPRO, passed away on June 10 at the age of 65. Van der Meulen, who was at the helm of the broadcaster for fourteen years, had to resign from his duties in March 2023 due to illness. His career started after studies in Stockholm and Utrecht at D66, after which he fulfilled various roles in politics and media, including political advisor and program supervisor.
