Three Dutch productions will be shown this year at the Brooklyn Film Festival, which runs from May 31 to June 9. "The Holy Trinity" by Martijn van de Griendt, a coming-of-age documentary about three best friends from Eindhoven, has its American premiere. Van de Griendt will be present for a Q&A on June 6. In addition, the short documentary "Weree" by Tal Amiran will be shown, about the self-taught artist Johnson Weree who seeks asylum in the Netherlands after the Liberian civil war. Attention is also paid to the Dutch-Israeli animation "Swimming With Wings" by Daphna Awadish, which explores the immigration experience.
