During the shoot of the Europapa video clip, Joost Klein, known from the Eurovision Song Contest, had several conflicts, including attacking an employee. Director Véras Fawaz shares this in the podcast The Bigger Picture. Klein, who was disqualified just before the Eurovision final for threatening a camerawoman, had difficulty working together and criticized the clip just before its release. Fawaz, who also wanted to make a documentary about the Eurovision Song Contest, now no longer has contact with Klein and emphasizes the value of respectful cooperation.
