The Dutch drama series Bestseller Boy, based on the 2018 book of the same name by Mano Bouzamour, will be shown on the German youth channel ZDFneo from June 25, according to producer Willy Waltz. The series, which tells the story of a young writer of Moroccan descent whose debut novel becomes a huge success, will be released in German dubbing. In addition to broadcasts in the Netherlands by AVROTROS and availability on Videoland, Bestseller Boy has also been sold to stations in Finland and Iceland. The main character is Shahine El Hamus, with an important supporting role for the late actress Wimie Wilhelm.
