Platform Makers, a partnership of trade unions and professional organizations, calls for further tightening of the Bill on the Strengthening of Copyright Contract Law. The current proposal does not provide sufficient solutions to market inequality in the cultural sector, where large multimedia companies and streaming platforms such as Netflix and Spotify dominate the market. Individual makers see little return on the revenue generated by their work. The bill contains some adjustments, but lacks the necessary incentive to guarantee fair compensation for creators. Platform Makers advocates a law that protects makers and ensures fair compensation.
