Three days after the start of the Ghent Film Festival, five percent more visitors were counted than last year. "In addition, as many tickets were sold online as during the entire festival last year," says managing director Jacques Dubrulle of the Film Festival. Festival programmer Wim De Witte is struck by the success of the Italian films, with "The Loneliness of Prime Numbers" by Saverio Costanzo and "Dieci Inverni" by Valerio Mieli as frontrunners.
