The 2024 Cannes Film Festival winners have been announced. The Palme d'Or was won by "ANORA" by Sean Baker. Payal Kapadia's "ALL WE IMAGINE AS LIGHT" received the Grand Prix, while Jacques Audiard's "EMILIA PÉREZ" took home the Jury Prize. Miguel Gomes was awarded Best Director for "Grand Tour". Special recognitions went to Mohammad Rasoulof and actors Jesse Plemons, Adriana Paz, Zoe Saldaña, Karla Sofía Gascón, and Selena Gomez for their roles in “Emilia Pérez.” Coralie Fargeat's "THE SUBSTANCE" won Best Screenplay. In the Short Films category, “THE MAN WHO COULD NOT REMAIN SILENT” by Nebojša Slijepčević won the Palme d'Or. "Un Certain Regard" awards were given to Guan Hu's "BLACK DOG" and other notable works.
