Television director Rudolf Spoor, known for his work for the NOS, has died at the age of 85. Spoor directed iconic moments such as the moon landing, the Elfstedentocht of 1963, and the church wedding of Prince Willem-Alexander and Máxima in 2002, where he captured the 'tear of Máxima'. He worked for the NOS for 45 years and received a royal honor twice. The royal family expressed their gratitude and appreciation for Spoor's decades-long contribution. His farewell will take place privately.
