Steffen Haars and Flip van der Kuil, also known as Steffen & Flip, have made their first English-language film with "Krazy House". This horror comedy, which gruesomely parodies the American sitcoms of the 1990s, had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, a rare achievement for a Dutch film. The film, starring Nick Frost and Alicia Silverstone, received mixed reviews. The story follows the Christian family 'The Christians', whose lives are turned upside down by a series of extreme events. The project, which took seven years to realize, was ultimately made possible with support from the Film Fund, despite previous rejections.
