An international documentary about the Amsterdam comedy club Boom Chicago, where stars such as Seth Meyers and Jordan Peele started their careers, is in production. The film, directed by Sanne Kortooms and Marte Visser, is based on the book "Boom Chicago Presents the 30 Most Important Years in Dutch History" and will contain archive footage and interviews with famous alumni. Production is provided by Rainproof Media in collaboration with Boom Chicago. Founded in 1993 by Andrew Moskos, Pep Rosenfeld and Saskia Maas, the club remains an important venue for comedy talent.
