Hank Onrust, known as a former director and program maker, has died at the age of 82 after a short illness, his family reports via NRC. Onrust was active from the early seventies to the beginning of this century and made dozens of television programs for AVRO, TROS and VPRO, among others. He directed, among others, "Erik or the small insect book" and "The Diary of Anne Frank", and was involved in "Zomergasten". In the 1990s he mainly focused on documentaries. Onrust was the widower of Suzanne Piƫt, who died in 2020.
