From this year onwards, series will play a prominent role at the Dutch Film Festival (NFF), with the introduction of Golden Calves for the Drama Series category. This decision coincides with the 44th edition of the festival, which will take place from September 20 to 27. Five new Golden Calves will be added for, among other things, best drama series and acting performance. Netflix, Prime Video and Videoland support as sponsors. In addition, the NFF, in collaboration with the Dutch Academy For Film, is considering a Golden Calf for best documentary series and professional awards for the next edition.
