Netflix has announced a price increase for its subscriptions, with the costs for a basic subscription rising to 8.99 euros, a standard subscription to 13.99 euros and a premium subscription to 18.99 euros per month. The streaming service justifies this increase by pointing to the investments in new content and productions. Customers will soon be informed about these changes, which follow a previous price increase in 2021. Other streaming services such as HBO, Disney+, Amazon Prime and Apple TV+ have also recently increased their prices.
