Hollands Licht has started the shoot of the new Dutch Netflix comedy series Haantjes, with actors Jeroen Spitzenberger, Waldemar Torenstra, André Dongelmans and Benja Bruijning. Written by Luuk van Bemmelen and Richard Kemper, and directed by Anna van der Heide and Anna van Keimpema, the series follows four friends - Mike, Daan, Ivo and Greg - who struggle with their masculinity in the modern world. Haantjes, a story about friendship and survival, can be seen on Netflix from 2025.
