The popular police series Flikken Maastricht, starring Victor Reinier and Angela Schijf as detectives Floris Wolfs and Eva van Dongen, is getting a nineteenth season. This has been confirmed by broadcaster AVROTROS and production company Hollands Licht. The new episodes will be broadcast next year on the public broadcaster. Since its start in 2007, the series, which attracts an average of 1.7 million viewers per episode, has won a Golden Televizier Ring and is the longest-running Dutch drama series.
