In Amsterdam, GroenLinks and Party for the Animals are calling for a ban on fossil advertising. A group of film professionals, including actors Carice van Houten and Ramsey Nasr, and directors Maria Goos and Maarten Treurniet, support a campaign for a national ban on advertisements for luxury cars and flying holidays in film theaters. They criticize the greenwashing by these advertisements and have launched a petition. The campaign targets film theaters and the largest cinema advertising operator, Jean Mineur Mediavision, to put pressure on fossil advertising.
