Studio Caribe has been officially launched in Curaçao and Aruba, an initiative of the Film Fund to support filmmakers from the Caribbean part of the Kingdom. The aim is to develop the talents of these makers and thus contribute to the film industry with authentic stories from the islands. Monique Ruinen and Ilse Ronteltap from the Film Fund presented Studio Caribe during a festive meeting with filmmakers, producers, journalists, dignitaries and other guests.
