During the BIFFF screening of "Love Lies Bleeding", a queer thriller by Saint Maud director Rose Glass, things got out of hand due to homophobic comments from the audience. This led to heated discussions, the suspension of the projection, and the intervention of the police after some queer attendees left the room and returned, even involving blows. The festival organization responded to the incident via social media.
