The documentary "Bolta Zathe" by Omrop Fryslân has won the Golden Region Heroes Award 2023, an award for the best journalistic production of regional public broadcasters. The film, made by journalist Hannah Swart, tells the story of two brothers on a remote farm, focusing on their unique way of life. The jury praised Swart's intimate approach and disarming interview style. “Bolta Zathe” also won the award for best documentary. The awards were presented during the Regiohelden Festival in Leeuwarden.
