The Netherlands Film Production Incentive has awarded a total of €10.3 million to 24 film projects in the first round of 2024. The awarded projects include the feature film "Cap Farewell" by director and screenwriter Vanja d'Alcantrara, with a contribution of € 76,680, and the documentary "The Dawn of the Post Plantation" by Renzo Martens and Ced'art Tamasala, with a screenplay by Martens and Roelof Jan Minneboo, receiving € 264,259. Other notable projects include "Dubbel Zes", a feature film by Ruud Schuurman and Gerben Hetebrij with a contribution of €534,008, and "Hawa", a documentary by Najiba Noori and Rasul Ali Noori, supported with €38,223.
