The IDFA is introducing a VR Gallery in the new Documentary Pavilion in Amsterdam, which will show six highlights of virtual documentaries over the next ten days, previously shown on DocLab. Among the projects are Dance Permit (Denied) by Claudix Vanesix, The Inhabited House by Diego Kompel, Lagos at Large by Jumoke Sanwo, and Swarm. The two longer projects, The Man Who Couldn't Leave by Singing Chen and Emperor by Marion Burger and Ilan Cohen, offer impressive VR experiences that explore the White Terror in Taiwan and life with aphasia respectively.
