Saskia Diesing is working on the new Videoland series "Máxima", which can be seen from April 20. The series, produced by Rachel van Bommel, tells the life story of Queen Máxima from her perspective, with an emphasis on her first encounters and dilemmas surrounding loyalty and love. Diesing, who normally prefers arthouse, was persuaded by her husband and the opportunity to paint a nuanced picture of Máxima's life. The series highlights Máxima's coming-of-age story, with Delfina Chaves and Martijn Lakemeier in the leading roles.
