The 46th edition of the International Documentary Festival Cinéma du Réel will take place in Paris from March 22 to 31, with an opening premiere of Mati Diop's Dahomey, winner of the Golden Bear in Berlin. Under the direction of Catherine Bizern, 37 films will be shown, including 19 feature films and 20 world premieres. The jury consists of international filmmakers and producers. Notable films include Direct Action by Ben Russell and Guillaume Cailleau, and Soundtrack To a Coup d'Etat by Johan Grimonprez. The festival also includes a tribute, retrospectives, special screenings and the ParisDOC professional programme.
