The documentary "In the service of peace" by Playback Images, directed by Jelmar Hoekstra, will premiere on March 27 in the Mimik theater in Deventer. The film highlights the experiences of Dutch soldiers during the UNIFIL mission in Lebanon between 1979 and 1985, during which nine soldiers died and many returned with PTSD. Former commander Peter van Uhm is one of the speakers. The documentary, supported by the Dutch Film Fund and V-fonds, will be shown in various film houses in April and later possibly on a streaming service.
