No fewer than three of the six Dutch films that premiered at the Berlinale in 2023 were written by Nena van Driel: Kiddo, directed by Zara Dwinger, Magma by Luca Meisters and Ma Mère et Moi by Emma Branderhorst. Stefanie Kolk's feature debut Melk, also written by Nena, also premiered during the 2023 Venice Film Festival (Giornate degli Autori). How does Nena look back on such an eventful year?
