The film "Oaia Neagră" won the Best Film award at the VERS Film Festival 2024, with director Renee Schräder. The jury praised the film as genre-transcending, personal and authentic. Other winners included Pauline Skoreng for Best Cinematography and Ilke Paddenburg for Best Editing.
