Hoyte van Hoytema is open to showing a Dutch film one day. However, that does not depend on him, says the Oscar-winning cameraman in de Volkskrant. “I really want to make beautiful films, that is my motivation. With people I love, people I respect. In principle, this does not have much to do with budget, or nationality, or where we operate,” Van Hoytema explains. “If it is something close to my heart, I am open to it. I never actually get scripts from the Netherlands.”
