At the ninth edition of the Vertigo Awards, various (Flemish) films and filmmakers were awarded, including Fien Troch, Rundskop, Oppenheimer and Barbie. Troch received the Best Ever Award for her work, while Wil was awarded Best Flemish Film 2023. Director Tim Mielants thanked him extensively in a video message.
