Bill Plympton, the famous American animator, gave a Masterclass at the IFFR in which he talked about self-promotion as an independent animator. He presented his Masterclass in a disarming and humorous way. Unfortunately, fewer people were present than hoped, which may indicate a lack of interest in his work in the Netherlands. Or that the promotion of the masterclass had failed.
