Belgian production company Jonnydepony has cast actor Willem De Schryver for the leading role in the crime drama "I Was a Cop in the 80s". The series, ordered by Amazon Prime Netherlands and Streamz, will be pitched during the TV Drama Vision event in Gothenburg. Directed by Wim Geudens, the show follows the story of a Belgian gendarmerie unit that becomes involved in corruption and drug trafficking in the 1980s.
