The French Oscar committee has failed to select the right film to give France its first Oscar win in more than 30 years. Instead of Tran Anh Hung's "The Taste of Things," Justine Triet's "Anatomy of a Fall" could have been the film that won the award. Despite being considered for the Best International Film category, the film was ignored by the committee.
