Director/producer Rolf Orthel looks back on his impressive documentary A semblance of doubt, about Westerbork camp and SS men in Auschwitz-Birkenau. Orthel calls the film one of his best works. The film will be shown on January 21 in the Ketelhuis in Amsterdam, followed by a discussion with Orthel. He has been active in the Dutch film world since 1960 and is currently working on a documentary about long Covid patients.
