The new series "Koolhoven presents" gives young Dutch genre filmmakers the opportunity to scare their viewers. In collaboration with NPO and the NPO Fund, and with support from the Film Fund, these filmmakers are given the freedom to make medium-length films. Martin Koolhoven, also known as the Dutch Hitchcock, will introduce each film in the series in his own cascading manner. The first three makers to be discussed are Gonzalo Fernandez Carmona, Loïs Dols de Jong and David-Jan Bronsgeest.
